Kanye West recently released a song on NYE titled Only One. It features the legendary Paul McCartney on the organ, Mike Dean (a well known southern rap producer) on piano and backing vocals by Ty Dolla $ign (an up and coming LA based singer). The lyrics are written from the perspective of Kanyes late mother, giving him words of encouragement and motivation to keep doing what he loves and what brings him happiness. She tells him that no matter the distance between the two, shell always be there for him and will one day get to see him again. The song ends with her telling Kanye to pass down her inspirational words to his daughter, and to let her know about her Grandmothers life.
