Kappa Psi Story of the Day: One of the coolest things about being a Kappa Psi at UNC is the alumni connections that you have within the school. Dr. Ives teaches the PY2s dermatology and taught us this afternoon. After class, I was just sitting upstairs in the lounge doing work and he approached me because I was wearing my Kappa Psi letter shirt. He introduced himself to me and we ended up talking for almost 30 minutes about all the amazing things Kappa Psi has to offer and how alumni love staying in touch and learning about all the great things Kappa Psis are still doing at UNC. The pride he expressed in being Kappa Psi was still so evident even though he hasnt been in pharmacy school for many decades. Dr. Ives composite picture is still hanging on the walls of the Kappa Psi house in Chapel Hill all the back to 1984! Dr. Ives is just one example of the great alumni network we have. Did you know that the past 3 deans, including the current dean, Dr. Blouin, are all Kappa Psi! You will have the opportunity to meet some of our alumni through the recruitment process and so many more if you decide to pledge and become a brother!
