Karen Woolven Flowers at Greenwich are recruiting a Shop Manager for their shop in Greenwich. The shop is on a beautiful road in Greenwich surrounded by some of the best foodie shops in London and we have become an essential part of the local community. We are a stones throw from Greenwich Park and are in the centre of the World Heritage Site. We are the main suppliers to all of the largest venues in Greenwich. We are looking for someone to manage the day to day running of the shop and staff and to look for and implement pro-active ways to drive the business and increase turnover alongside the Director. Ideally you will already be in a management role or a senior position. Responsibilities: Ordering and buying of plants/flowers/sundries Liaise with the Director on additional new lines Actively promote the shop on social media Actively seek and gain new customers and contracts Manage the shop florists to ensure a constant high standard is maintained Seek new suppliers Design new bouquets etc Participate in web-development with the Director Design and implement new window displays Skills: Friendly, helpful nature and knowledgeable in all aspects of floristry, flowercare, plantcare etc. Enjoys putting procedures in place Personable and hardworking Excellent time keeping Full driving licence and ability or willingness to drive a van Loves problem solving If this feels like you and you are looking for your next interesting role where you will be an essential part of a growing team and an expanding business then please send your CV.
