Karma When a bird is alive... It eats insects. When the bird is dead.. Insects eat the bird. Time & Circumstances can change at anytime. Do not devalue or hurt anyone in life. You may be powerful today. But always remember.. Time is more powerful than you. One tree makes a million matchsticks. It only takes one matchstick to burn a million trees. I love this! Wonderful Wednesday morning reflection, particularly since I had just been meditating on powerlessness (my life lesson in Numerology & Hand Analysis). I used to see this in action many times when I worked for Telstra. It paid to be on good terms as much as possible with those around you because you never knew who you would be reporting to when the next cycle of change arrived... There isnt any real power, status or security in what we do, what we own and how we look, yet that is how most of us define ourselves, our lives and others. If you strip all that away, how do you feel now about that person or about yourself? Its a fine line, striving to experience and enjoy our material resources without becoming attached to them, defined by them and controlled through them, but unless we do, we are an absolute slave to them. Physical beauty eventually fades. Eventually we retire. And, we cant take our material possessions with us beyond this earthly plane. Whenever I lose sight of what is truly important in my life I ask myself two questions. What will matter most at the end of it all, and who will I be then?, when I am no longer defined by the perceptions of others or how I look, what I do and what I own. Then, I strive to be that person now. Number 5 in Numerology = freedom. Free to speak, free to express and free to be the REAL me... Welcome to hump day folks
