Kashmiris mature enough to distinguish between traitors and freedom fighters: Shabir Shah *.While commenting on the election campaigning by pro-Indian political parties and curbs on pro-freedom leaders, senior resistance leader and Chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shahsaid the people of Kashmir are very much politically and intellectually mature to distinguish between the election politics of those dancing to the tunes of New Delhi and those pro-freedom leaders who are trying to liberate Kashmir from the forced occupation of India. Shah Sahib said Kashmiri people know that India by the might of force made Kashmiris slave against their wishes in 1947. They also know how many lives they sacrificed against forced rule of India and how much brutalities they tolerated. They also understand that government by arresting pro-freedom leadersis trying to suppress the freedom movement. Kashmiris also understand that those parties involved in election politics are strengthening the imperialistic propagandas of India under the garb of democracy.Shah Sahib said Kashmiris also know who were behind the communal clashes that erupted in Gool, Ramban and Kishtwar and how current government targeted Muslims by adopting partial approach.Applauding the political intellect of Kashmiris, Shah said whenever situation turned worse for movement; they sacrificed their everything for its sake. While warning pro-Indian politicians, Shah said Kashmiri people will never let the sacrifices gowaste and they will never prefer road developments, park developments and music concerts over freedom. He said Kashmiris neither forgot the martyrs nor those who are languishing in jails but will continue their political freedom movement against India till Kashmir issue is resolved. Meanwhile, Freedom Party Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah has greeted Hurriyat Conference Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani on being re-elected as Chairman Hurriyat Conference, Jamaat-e-IslamiAmeer Muhammad Abdullah Wani on being elected Ameer-e-Jamaat and JamiatAhle Hadith President Ghulam Muhammad BhatMadni on becoming the president of Jamiat. He also hoped the leaders of all these organizations will lead the nation according to Qur’an and Sunnah.Here, the party spokesperson has said Shabir Ahmad Shah will visit GoolRamban, Chenab Valley, Jammu, Rajouri and Pooch this month to remove the misconceptions and controversies that were created between various committees in recent past.
