Kat and I saw The Judge tonight and thought it was a fantastic movie. Were dismayed that critics panned it, but from our experiences, thats an endorsement that its a must-see movie. It seems reviewers like angst-filled plots and unresolved endings. To hell with reality. As far as Im concerned, Im there for fantasy and escape. As for The Judge, I thought the passionate exchanges between father and son (Duvall and Downey) were great. Theyre two of my most favorite actors and both delivered intense, honest performances.
