Kathmandu, Aug. 11: The services in Bir Hospital have resumed from Monday after a nine-point agreement between the National Resident Doctor Association, National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) and representatives of the Ministry of Health and Population. As per the tripartite deal, agreement has been made to supply the required equipments in the Bir Hospital, call a senate meeting within two weeks and organize the convocation ceremony that was not held for the nine years, Vice Chancellor of NAMS Prof Dr Ganesh Gurung said. Likewise, agreement has been made to follow the academic calendar of NAMS, construct a hostel with complete facilities and form a panel to monitor the hospital.
