Kaththi - Gets deep down your heart Firstly, the movie is a bit lengthy and the first 20 to 30 minutes are covered by a slow screenplay which covers the romance and humor part.. Vijay fresh and energetic as always. The initial scenes will portray the story as a Mass Hero subject but its not.. A very strong theme/story line and a brave attempt by A R Murugadoss...Believe me, after the first 40 minutes, you will never take your eyes off the screen.. Samantha comes as a cute doll throughout and she didnt have much of a role to portray.. Sathish had performed his role well and along with Vijay himself, they made sure that we laugh enough whenever they appear on screen.. Anirudhs songs are peppy and the visuals are good enough to enjoy, on screen.. The initial Kaththi teaser was weird and funny but believe me, when that particular scene comes, you will be impressed.. The old age home grandpas casting is so perfect. They are the major strength to the movie.. Slow first half followed by an excellent cum emotional second... We enjoy the privilege of eating fruits, veggies and other spices but we never care to thank or know about those who made it for us or the sufferings they undergo.. This movie makes an impact and i bet none will come out without wetting their eyes..Audiences applauded when the movie ended, rather than shouting and screaming.. Yet another best combo from Vijay and ARM...Take your family along, enjoy the movie.. My Rating would be 3.25/5
