Kathy Shaffer Price tagged me with 9 random facts so here goes: 1. My earliest memories go way back to potty training and I was potty trained at 1 year old. 2. My first pet was Mr. Lincoln a frog I dug out of the irrigation ditch who had hibernated until I brought him in the house and he warmed up. 3. I slept with my favorite toy Bun Rabbit until I was a freshman in high school. 4. One of my pet peeves is the sound of a vacuum cleaner unless I am running it then I can tolerate it 5. The best description of my personality came from a palm reader in New Orleans who told me I was a patient person but had no tolerance. 6. I love tattoos and would probably have sleeves and such if it werent for my profession and the risk that my patients would judge me by my tattoos not by my skill. 7. I remember every patient I have ever treated even if I have only seen them once but if you havent been my patient it will take me years to remember your name. 8. I snuck onto a ship in the Copenhagen Denmark marina only to find it was an Iranian refugee ship and had to be escorted off by guards to stay alive.....oops 9. I can not watch healthcare being done I either faint or puke but as long as I feel like I am helping it doesnt bother me. I am even wound care certified and do sharp debridement but cant watch a simple finger stick for a blood sugar, who knew?
