Keep in mind that these plants uptake these metals from the soil and accumulated them into their plant tissues does not mean, of itself, they are removing the metals from that environment. Unless the plants are then harvested, removed, from that land, those metals will simply be returned to the soil as they naturally die and decompose. So to be useful for that purpose, there would need to be some way to practically harvest them, and then what do you do with them and the metal they contain
