Legal assistant Irene Myangoh bought the hairpiece from a salon in Nairobi and after wearing it for two weeks began suffering from severe headaches. Ms Myangoh told The Daily Mail that she underwent blood tests and even a brain scan to try and work what was wrong but all the tests came back negative. Frustrated, Ms Myangoh said she returned to her doctor who examined her scalp and reportedly found maggots eating into her skull. The doctors believe the maggots had hatched from eggs contained in the hair that Ms Myangoh believes came from a dead body
