Kehau and I went for a late dinner at a small, local, Japanese restaurant in West LA last night. We sat down at the sushi bar, and I immediately realized that Jackson Browne was sitting next to us. I struggled to subdue my excitement and refrain from bothering him like a typical fan would. So instead, I told the waitress to put his dinner on my tab, and his quiet, subdued, honest appreciation of my gesture, and the look in his eye when he said thank you, made my night. I told him that it was in appreciation of the years of joy he brought me, my friends and my family, and I will never forget it.
