Ken O was pretty amazing and covered my butt a couple times. I had written a piece to get the troops fired up about a product that was giving us price fits. It was a Japanese product made in El Monte. I went on about the Japanese being sterling at copying technology but developing nothing. And being based in the technological capital base of RVs (EL Monte) they were truly close to the heartbeat of technology,,,,,,not Silicon Valley. Long story short when the competitive CEO called to complain about this totally unprofessional piece, Kens response was, Let me get this straight? You are terrified of a sales newsletter? When we had recruited too many people from Xerox and CEO called,,,,,,,, Kens response was I may not have this right, but I thought Lincoln freed the slaves An amazing guy!
