Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a Receptionist at a 5* Luxury Lodge situated in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. This lodge is internationally known and has a vast range of international clients arriving on a daily basis, you will need to be bubbly, organised and have a passion for the bush. Key responsibilities within this role will include: To provide a front desk and curio shop service to the guests To assist the lodge management in any other duty or area as may be required from time to time. To provide a duty management service in the evenings according to the hosting roster We are looking for a passionate, eager to learn and excel in the industry, experienced individual for this placement, who has at least 2 years experience in the Front Office of a 4 or 5 star Lodge or Hotel. The successful candidate will have the following skills: - Have strong linguistic and inter-personal skills - Be 5-star orientated - Have the ability to work with figures and cash - Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise - Have organisation and co-ordination skills - Enjoy and be good at clerical and admin work - Have excellent telephone manners - Be well presented and agile (job involves a lot of running around in hot weather) - Have a minimum education of Grade 12 - Be PC literate – Microsoft Word & Exel - Reception experience in Hospitality – 2 years Apex is our Property Management System – experience on this or Fidelio/ Opera would be preferred.
