Kenneth Harrison, 71, of Burnt Prairie, IL, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 5:30 a.m. at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville, IN. He was born May 6, 1942 in Enfield Township, IL, the son of George Wren and Flossie Lucille (Phillips) Harrison. Kenneth was a carpenter by trade and an avid hunter. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Kenneth is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Hammond of Brighton, IL; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry and Denise Harrison of Enfield and Kenny Harrison of Brighton, IL; a brother, Donald R. Harrison of Norris City; five grandchildren, Stephanie and husband, Ryan Taylor, Brooke and Patrick Harrison and Zack and Olivia Hammond; and two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Remmington Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private funeral services for Kenneth Harrison, 71, of Burnt Prairie, IL will be held with burial at Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
