Kenzie was a busy little girl last night and did a great job with her first litter. Why is it that the first pup almost always is the biggest and seems to want to come breach?! Thanks to my mom who, for the first time in a number of years, actually helped to deliver them as I was helping with record book judging! I will admit that I felt a bit helpless when I called to have her check on Kenzie, hear Mom say, "gotta go, the pup is breach and stuck!" That was the longest 5 minutes before I called back to talk her through how to get the pup going. But with a bit of coaching all 3 pups are doing great. They weigh in at 4.4, 3.9 and 2.4 oz!
