Kevin Brors - Paranoid Freak Hey there, I decided to make another beat. This one I started making last night while I was hallucinating really bad. I made the beat first. Then I added a small part of the vocals. Then went to bed. This morning I decided on some synths and tweaked and compressed the bass and the analog. And then I wrote the bass line. Which was a bit more complicated than Im used to, but I was up for the challenge. I had real trouble writing the melody because the bassline was hard to get down, and the melody was fairly simple. Tonight I was feeling a lot better, and I was able to make the melody a lot more complicated. When I say I write the composition, I actually dont write anything down. I just remember everything. I always compose the rhythm and the melody of the chorus, and then I make rules for the melody of the verses, and then use the rules to freestyle the verses. It would be a lot lot lot easier to record if I had pre-composed all the verses. But I really dont have time to do that. Because when I have a window that I feel good, I really have to hustle and get it done. Because I may not feel good again for another 2 or 3 days. So Im always pressed for time. I was feeling so good tonight, that I decided to go the extra mile and write lyrics for the chorus. I didnt write lyrics for the whole song, because I do get pressed for time, and I was only feelin the chorus. You feel me? So all in all I think this is one of my best songs. I really like it.
