Kevin OFarrell Photographer has captured two recent relaunchings of grand old boats following their extensive restorations at Hegartys Boat Yard, West Cork, Ireland. Here is the Falmouth Quay Punt, LITTLE PAL (now known as TEAL): designed and built by W.E. Thomas in 1914 at his ship building yard in Bar Road, Falmouth, Cornwall. LITTLE PAL was built as a yacht at the behest of Percy Woodcock. He was her first owner who became particularly well known in yachting circles, having written several articles for cruising journals (especially Yachting Monthly). She was relaunched May 13, 2014, after a stunning two and a half year restoration by Adrian and Ken at Hegartys Boat Yard West Cork Ireland.
