Key Concept for Spiritual Growth: God assures His people that He loves them. They doubt it, and, as a result, they live their own selfish and wicked lives. This means that our spiritual lives and growth depend on our picture of God. When we fully believe that He wants our best, then we yield our lives to Him in complete trust, live in total dependence upon Him, and follow His will out of gratitude. Only then can we prosper. God’s love for His people and His coming on the day of the Lord. Emphasize to your class that, as His followers, we are strongly admonished to do what is right because the day of accountability is near.
