One more interesting feature of this city – development of craft. Khiva from antiquity was the city of handicraftsmen, and now art of masters of the city admires not only locals and guests, but also wins a world fame. Skill of local handicraftsmen cant be compared to anything, each their product looks as a masterpiece. Woodcarving and products from ceramics are most developed here. The poets and thinkers who were living in Khiva or visited here once called it A planet pearl and The eighth wonder of the world. Why they used such names – it is impossible to describe. For this purpose it is necessary to visit this ancient city. Khiva is the city which will fascinate any tourist, everyone will find for itself(himself) something here that will be remembered and will inspire only him.
