#Khobragade Issue raises Serious Questions on #National #Security !! Last December , Mrs Devyani Khobragade , an Indian Foreign Service Officer , being posted as Deputy Consul General in New York was arrested & strip searched by US Law Enforcement Authorities for making false statements in VISA application of her Domestic help.After much Hue & Cry in both Domestic & International media that led to a diplomatic standoff between US & India , she was sent back to India under diplomatic immunity.But today we have some new facts about her ,non disclosure of information regarding her Children holding US passports & dual Citizenship , while India dont provide dual citizenship. Every aware individual knows that Embassies, Consulates & Missions are the Primary Hub of various Covert Intelligence & Military Operations including Certain Political Lobbying by the Foreign Country.Now an IFS officer being part of this System having half of her family holding US passports , raises Serious Questions & Can put our National Interest & Security in danger. How can an IFS officer , being part of Indian Bureaucracy have his/her own Son, daughter & Husband hold passport of a foreign Country ? Evenif Himself/herself not holding foreign country passport ,How can One vouch the secrecy & Integrity of his/her Official Acts in favour of National Interest ? We also have examples of RAW officials defecting to foreign countries , with Controversial documents that puts our National security at Risk.They hold allegiance to Indian Constitution while taking up Service under it , while they do otherwise. Any idea ?
