Ko Roka Marama Nepia taku ingoa Ko Parekura Nepia raua Ko Irihapeti Rapana oku matua Ko Raukura Nepia nee Wanakore raua Ko Violet Rapana oku Kuia ataahua Ko Duskey Nepia raua Ko Harry Rapana oku Koro toa Ko Tainui me Ngapuhi oku Iwi Ka huri au taku Korero i roto i te Reo Tauiwi.. Well...I dont know as much as I should about My Whakapapa/Pepeha especially My Ol Ladys side I do know that koro Harry is from Horeke and Nana Violet is from Kaeo the old North East meets North West taake. I oku whakaaro My Tainui side is where I get my humbleness from and My waha is from up North somewhere (no Iwi mentioned :-P) I have a few Marae on My Nepia side the ones I know are Horeke and Te Kauri both in the Mighty Waikato!! Back in My teens like 5 years or so ago ;-) My Kuini Raukura tried to get Me into making a Korowai but coz I knew everything I didnt, I lost interest. I do regret that I didnt take the time to learn from her but she did teach Me to cook so thats something I guess no time like the present to get My A into G to create one for My Whanau. Im the eldest of 7 and the only one who who has lived in the North and South Islands never able to settle in one place until we came here, been in Aus for 3 years our first year was here then spent a year in Adelaide then moved back here to Brizealand. I was born in West Auckland and raised in Whanganui amongst My Atihau-nui-a-paparangi Whanau, Ive got 4 kids ages 13, 7, 5 and 2 they are my reasons for living in a foreign country that we (temporarily) call Home their looks may be angelic but I kid you not theyre just masks!! I could go on forever about Myself coz Im cool like that but alas I have to sign off and go back to the real world and be a Mama, I look forward to creating beautiful Korowai and building friendships along Our journey.
