Kia Ora Whanau On the 6th Feb we are having a Hangi Fundraiser for our Marae Mangaemiemi, it will go towards a new deck out the back from the kitchen. This one though is going to have a bit of a twist to it as we are always hearing from whanau in Perth and overseas in other places that they wish they could help in someway for our Marae. Well here it is, we are setting ticket sales up the Hangi as a Koha How it works: Whanau overseas or afar can buy Hangi tickets and koha them to one of their whanau or friends back here in Aotearoa. There will be packs of 2 for $30, 5 for $75, 10 for $140 and 20 for $270 In the Hangi will be meats, veges, stuffing, fry bread, steam pudding and a drink. All of this for $15 per plate. We will deliver their tickets to them and the person that sponsors the Hangi will receive a thank you cert (virtual) to keep. Pick ups will be 3pm 6th Feb (Waitangi day), from the Hapu office Waitara or PukeAriki walkway Carpark New Plymouth. So please pm, text 0277345209 or email [email protected] your orders.
