Tai Mitchell Hostel Staff/parents meeting Term 4 2013 Mr Mayhew and Mr Lockwood Discussions: Term 4 Academic Focus and Exam prep/timetable • Prep to remain consistent with a view to extending • Boarders encouraged to use the extra prep system • Junior boarders to aim to complete their junior certificate requirements • Senior boarders to complete requirements and prepare for upcoming exams • Senior boarders are welcome to stay and use the school library as their study base Outdoor Activities • Boarders encouraged to be outside as the weather improves • Aim to provide opportunities to participate in activities End of term Dinner • Whanau are welcome to attend dates to be confirmed Questions: No questions were raised Summary: Whanau were happy with the academic focus and the outdoor activities.
