Kids are so sweet. Their innocence can be a breath of fresh air, sometimes. Tonight I picked Jocelyn up out of my bed and started walking towards her room, right... Well it was dark and theres this random toy in the floor so, of course, I trip *carrying her*. I go down on my knees and elbows trying to save Jocelyn from hitting the floor, (which I did, successfully) but it understandably woke her up. I feel terrible for falling with her in my arms and she looks down at my knee (which is now bleeding) and apologizes to ME bc she thinks its her fault! Im like I just nearly dropped you! Im the one who should be apologizing! Still she sits there and holds me for a minute soothing me to make me feel better. Lol! How did I get so incredibly lucky to have such wonderful children and so many other blessings in my life?
