Kids are too smart today. Zoe and I were in a store today and the lady had a stuffed monkey drinking out of a coconut. She also had a stuffed parrot holding a glass. She said the monkey sang at one time but had never worked since she changed the batteries. Zoe looked at it a minute, turned it upside down and turned the switch to on and pressed its hand and it worked. The lady laughed and said she never thought about that. Zoe kept looking at the parrot because the lady bought it on a cruise two years ago and it had never worked. So she checked the switch to be sure it was on and she had replaced the batteries. In a minute we heard it talking and asked Zoe what she did because we had pressed the hands and feet. She said she just pressed the magical notes on its wing. We looked and there were musical notes on elbow but they were magical to her. Too funny.
