Kids, even though our vote rarely matters in our state, it is absolutely necessary to vote. Because too many people have fought and died for our freedom to vote. Not just soldiers defend America. Countless people defend America daily in small and big ways. Most times when were voting its a choice between bad and worse. But it is still the best system in the world. I never vote for someone if I dont know what they believe in. So, I will fill-in The Forgotten Man. Id wager most politicians on this ballot dont even know that reference. After we left, I explained to them what the forgotten man means and represents. And why I showed my drivers license to get my ballot (always to the surprise of the person handing out ballots). And how people who dont want to show identification to vote are doing so because theyre being sneaky. Then, I dropped the kids off at school. Im in Boston traffic dictating this post to Siri right now. God bless America and all those who fight and who have fought and died for my freedom to vote. And for all you good people behind the scenes. And to all those who undermine the intent of the Founding Fathers, I will continue to pray for your conversion of heart. Our country cannot last if more people dont have a change of heart regarding the greatness of America.
