Kids with sensory processing disorders have fewer pathways in the white matter of their brains. But guess what, with the proper movements to stimulate the brain, neurons can grow, pathways can be built and brain processing can become faster and get in sync. Just like you can increase the processing speed and memory in a computer, you can do the same in your childs brain. This is called neurological reorganization.
