Within the beautiful yet scarred war-torn walls of St Elizabethkirche (Invalidenstr.3, 10115 BLN). As a part of the "Berlin Leuchtet" Festival. Walls and what they represent will be our leitmotif - barriers, grand facades, reflectors, traps, monuments and symbols of history, explored through the medium of lieder, folk melodies, chamber ensemble and dance. Featuring the highest quality artists, musicians and performers including members of the STAATSOPER and STAATSBALLET! Continuing the Kiez connection to the club scene, the performance will be further enhanced by projections during the show from the light artist TOFA (Art Director of legendary techno club TRESOR) on the bare brick walls of the church. This will be the last Kiez Oper event for at least a few months and maybe even as far away as the Summer next year!
