Kikis Kitchen styled palusami with corned beef in the oven ... Ingredients : 2 bunch of Taro leaves, 1 onion sliced, 2 tomoatoes sliced, 3 tins of corned beef or mutton, a pkt of Kara coconut cream 1000ml, 2 lemons juiced, cracked pepper, salt to taste. Clean u taro leaves n ur stems (optional but peel it if u are going to use it - I use everything) n I wash my leaves couple hours before hand (my mamas way) n dry it ... I save some big leaves to place around n at the base of my tray n the rest I rip up to required sizes.Rub salt n oil all over the insides of ur pan ... Layer ur leaves ... Then gradually put a layer of corned beef, leaves, onion n tomatoe cracked pepper/salt n coconut cream n keep this process up until all ur ingredients have filled the tray .... Tuck the remaining leaves down into ur dish and with ur 1000ml now empty carton fill it up with water n give it a good shake ... U will be surprised as to how much cream is still in there and pour it sparingly all over ur dish. Put it in a preheated oven on 200d ... N as soon as it boils turn it right down low n let it simmer, give it little jiggers instead of stirring. Like put ur spoon in n move it slightly side to side. :) serve with tavioka or dalo ...
