Kim DuPriest of Spotsylvania holds a check for $559 raised for the Alexs Lemonade Stand Foundation to fight childhood cancer by A.G. Richardson Elementary School students during a Make a Difference Day this fall. Make a Difference Day co-chairs Idah Rhea White (left) and Amy Glascock presented the check to DuPriest during the schools Fantastic Fall Lemonade Stand event this afternoon. DuPriest spoke at last years lemonade stand fundraiser at AGRES with her daughter, Jordan, who was undergoing treatment for brain cancer at the time. Jordan passed away not long after. DuPriest thanked AGRES students, parents and staff today for their efforts which helped fund Jordans treatment and improve her quality of life throughout her battle with cancer.
