Seemingly unrelated events were intricately woven together in the tangled web of a complex system. The novel manages something quite amazing in that for the first few chapters or so, its very vague and nothing definable really occurs. And yet, it is completely engaging. Rather than being lost and confused, the fact that I had no idea what was going on only added to the mystery and appeal of the story. However, for the less forgiving, the story does pick up pace relatively quickly. I really had no idea what to expect until things finally started clicking together, and all of a sudden, it all made sense. And above all else, one particular idea that was presented was really quite brilliant.
