Kindly be fair to new Mps.... Its only fair to be fair.... I just returned to Nairobi tonight from the House Leadership Conference in Mombasa. I returned earlier because I am travelling to Nyeri very early kesho to attend the Prize Giving Day at Karima Boys (I even have a contribution for the welfare club that supports the needy students). The conference is interesting with discussions on new order, bicameralism and the role of the National Assembly comparing with the USA where we have a pure presidential system. The country is on a major transition. On air at Inooro was Ms. Wanjiku saying that I have been missing from Nyeri since the election. I wonder why she could be so unfair to me because I have been to Nyeri County many times since the election. I even opened my office save am awaiting furniture when the financial year opens. Last weekend the function I was going to a school prize giving day was cancelled because of the teachers strike... Jameni am surprised as I have been in Nyeri in a function with her and she held my bag. In Nairobi I have been serving my tasks dutifully especially in Committees. I have been at the fore front of pursuing funds for County Mps to apply in their areas of representation. It was an unfair accusation but I will take it well. The last week of July am in Nyeri full-time and much of August when the House is in recess. Nyeri people I remain committed to serving you 100%. I do hope we get the funds soon.
