Kindness comes back to you when you show kindness to someone else. Its true we reap what we sow in many ways. Ive said before how kind and helpful Fred is. He has a loving heart and for that Im grateful. Usually he tells me after hes done something. He knows Im not the jealous type because without a doubt I know he loves me and comes home to me. Sometimes hell say he carried somebody to lunch or one time years ago he paid for one of his employees to attend her mothers funeral in the Dominican republic and I was NOT happy. I said youll never see that money again and we had a young family to raise living from pay check to pay check. You can imagine, I hit the ceiling. But, the employee came back and paid him every cent. I felt terrible for my behavior. He felt he couldnt let that person not be able to see the mother one last time. Money doesnt mean much to him. If he has it, lets spend it. Hes a little more guarded these days but if somebody needs it and hes got it he gives it. We have pecan trees in our yard and the big branches keep falling loaded with pecans. My neighbor saw him struggling to pull it down but couldnt. She told him yesterday her son was on his way to her house and was bringing the saw with a long arm to cut it down. When we came in from town the limb was down. Thats what kindness is, helping someone even if you dont know them. I thank God for the kindnesses shown to us and I want to give kindness in love for Christ. Jesus was all about showing love and told us to love one another. Who can we show kindness and love for today? It will come back to you . Have a blessed Lords day and worship Him today.
