King David revealed, The world is built with kindness. Meaning, G-d created the world with the attribute of pure loving-kindness. His sole intention is to bestow the ultimate good upon mankind. There are two aspects of this wonderful goodness of HaShem. Firstly, HaShem desires to reveal the Shechinah, i.e., the Divine Presence, to His creations because this is the supreme joy and delight. Secondly, every second of existence Hashem showers us with every type of goodness and blessing, without interruption. We have established that HaShem conducts Himself with us completely and exclusively with loving-kindness! What is the secret of opening our hearts to perceive and enjoy the wondrous loving-kindness of HaShem that abundantly and continuously surrounds us? Just as it takes an experienced jeweler to recognize a precious gem, so too, in order for us to recognize the wondrous loving-kindness of HaShem, we must perform acts of loving-kindness. As we accustom ourselves to bestowing kindness upon others, we sensitize our hearts to the beauty and joy of kindness. Once our hearts blossom with an appreciation of loving-kindness, we are able to recognize and appreciate the marvelous and miraculous loving-kindness of HaShem. Our hearts will be filled with joy for the constant gifts that HaShem bestows upon us as well as for the opportunity to emulate Him through bestowing good deeds upon others.
