King George V School and South Island School are delighted to announce their partnerships with the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU), which is providing financial support to the two schools in upgrading their sports facilities. A cheque presentation ceremony was held on 28 September during HKRFU’s 60th Anniversary celebration event. HKRFU Chairman Mr Trevor Gregory presented a HK$10 million cheque to KGV and another HK$2 million cheque to SIS. The funding support will be dedicated to the refurbishment of the field at KGV, the installation of a top grade, rugby appropriate, astroturf surface for SIS’ Sports Block as well as a new sports seminar room.
