King season is over and the best way to describe it is - TopicsExpress

King season is over and the best way to describe it is "Consistent". They hit hot and heavy at the end of June and we caught them all the way through until the end of the King season on July 24th. The last group of fishermen all caught at least one King over 38" and one guy caught 5 over 38" and a few in the mid 30" range. So far this season the river system has: 113,800 King salmon; 613,00 Chum Salmon; 894,00 Sockeye The silvers are hitting the river too and we have 25,000 fish so far. We have a professional fly fisherman and casting instructor at the lodge this year and I can personally vouch for his ability to teach. In about 30 minutes I was casting well enough to start catching fish. One of the guests caught 5 rainbows, 3 grayling and a Dolly Varden in the first 1 1/2 hours of his fly fishing life. We are pretty much full up until the beginning of September. If you want to get in on some awesome Silver salmon, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden fishing get a hold of me. 907-240-4868 Chet Benson
