Knee replacement update 6 months: so this knee is officially the worst and best thing I have ever done. I will not hesitate to have the other one done when it is needed. Probably a couple years. And I will now know what to expect. 2 weeks in hell honestly, but I was way over the weight they suggest and the doctor had warned me. 4 more weeks of difficult times but steadily better over two months. Now at six months I have full use, full range of motion and swelling is almost gone. No pain in that knee! With the exception of stiffness when I sit too long. I will work hard to lose the extra weight now both for my replacement knee and for the one I will need. The recovery will be much easier. There it is.
