Knock knock knock ! I tried to hear the sound of banging in my door. Yes, somebody is knocking the door. Who can be visiting me in these odd hours? The wall clock shows the time is 2 a.m in the morning. It is a rainy night with heavy wind blowing. Usually I don’t have many visitors. Even I don’t like them. I don’t like anyone who interferes with my work. Even I don’t go out if I don’t have avoidable work. I was sipping some scotch and was going through a research paper; I was deep inside the paper and whiskey already started working. Then I heard again – Knock Knock!! First I thought it is the wind…. I live in an old abandoned house which I had bought up to live and work. After so many years of job here and there, I finally wanted to escape from humanity and took up this lonely house in a hill .The population is very rare here in the hill. The nearby town is 5 kilometers away. I never married, and for helping me with my household work, a local guy comes in the morning and leaves by night, after cooking dinner. Who may be visiting me now? The area I live is known for its peaceful and friendly neighbor. No track record of theft or burglary is known as per me. And I don’t have any valuable things with me apart from my books and computer. I finished my peg quickly and stood up!! Again banging sound on the door. Whoever it is, I have to attend my midnight guest. I unlatched the door…. And for my utmost surprise , I saw a lady standing on the door, she was completely drenched, Tall as what I myself measure , wearing jean and tee. ‘Mr. Fri ‘ –She called upon my name.
