“Know nobody” They say am a beast, That hails from the outcast ether An enemy to man kind Many discern me, For my poisonous venom, They say; I stink death, And burn like hell flames For I show no mercy I hardly miss any ones prayer request. Don’t you think am so tired, Of incubating all the verbalises I got no legs, But those with legs search for me, I am no genius, But the genius seek me fast, I seek no popularity, But popularity seeks me. Am a topic in every media house Am no closer to a beauty queen, But only the beauties feast one me. So I wonder! Some say, I have stolen their loved ones, Taken off their flesh, I have left grieving widows, orphans and widowers I have caused pain no man has in the entire universe, But you forget is that, I am a griever too, I deter myself from worldly pleasures. I seek refuge in one room of your crib, The bedroom. If I receive no kind reception I roam the empty streets daily, To get hold of the reckless, Those who are worn and tired, Of abstaining, Being faithful, And using condoms, But I sincerely apologise for those that didn’t seek me, But have me, Shield your remains. And apply the ABC method, I look forward to your loyalty, If there may never be a counter offer, I will consider you a loyal customer, To change, and cast me out of, Your community, Till then I will forever, Remain Mr. AIDS.
