An impressive tally for a bunch of Irish boys who had only released their first single. The video showed the struggles of a man, desperate for acceptance and one act of bravery despite his troubles. Since then the guys have played all over the globe, headlined festivals and supported some of the biggest names in the music industry. They have gained the respect of their peers and rightly so. Kodaline’s songwriting is a refreshing tonic to ears weary of bland folk-pop. Their record In a Perfect World rose to No.1 in Ireland and 3 in the UK charts. Today, the four lads from Swords have released ‘All I Want (Part 2)’ – a resolution to the heart-warming debut single ‘All I Want’.
