[Korea] Free admission to palaces, tombs and shrine on Chuseok In celebration of Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), the four royal palaces, royal tombs and Jongmyo Shrine will offer free admission to visitors on September 8. Folk songs and fusion gukak concert will take place at Jeukjodang Garden in Deoksugung Palace. Jaegung in Jongmyo Shrine will hold a reenactment of Jongmyo Jeryeak and Myohyunrae ceremony. Yeongneung / Nyeongneung in Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do will turn into playground for Korean traditional folk games like yutnori and jegi-chagi. Free admission to the above mentioned sites is available only on September 8. On the other hand, the special performance and events will last for the rest of the Chuseok holidays. More Info ☞ Venue: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Huwon, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace in Seoul.
