Kravens Perfect 1 week Kilju (scandinavian sugar wine) ingredients: 1 empty and sterilized 1-gallon jug 1 and 3/4 cups granulated white sugar 1 and 1/2 tablespoons yeast (bakers will do just fine) prep: pour sugar into jug fill up jug with 110oz warm water (should be just above comfortable no higher) shake till all sugar is dissolved in water (warm water dissolves sugars best so shouldnt take long while thats cooling a bit...: take yeast and put into measuring glass add nice solid scoop of sugar (seperate from called ingrdiants just enough to get it going id say at least 2 teaspoons) add half-cup same temp water, stir a bit and let sit for 10 mins after time is up pour into jug place cap and shake for 10 seconds poke a very small hole in cap and barely place cap on jug (just enough so it stays on but can still be pushed up) let sit in sink in case of initial overflow (dont worry its natural) should only be for about an hour or two put in a dark room temp room and after a week youll have a slightly fizzy 7-8% neutral brew (i like to add mulled spice bags to it and a tiny bit of sugar to sit for a night before drinking)
