Kristen Bomer have me the #11.... Like my status, and I will give you a number! 1. My mom threw me off of the diving board at the YMCA when I was little and told me to swim to the side....thats how I learned to swim! 2. Continuing the swimming theme: I swam competively since the age of 5 and still hold a 9 & 10 year record with Jennifer Harder Gordon and Azure Weis Reese for the 100 yd. freestyle relay. I also coached HS for 4 years. 3. I am proud to be a Bluffton beaver....so much that may have a tattoo hidden somewhere! 4. I love to read Janet Evanovich books. 5. I have a fear of flying, but I love to vacation. I wish I could travel more! 6. I love teaching 6th grade....at any point in the day, I could be singing or dancing to get my point across. 7. Ive worn contacts since 5th grade, am extremely blind, and wish I could get LASIK eye surgery. 8. I have 4 boys....I always wanted a girl...and I bet if I tried for another, Id have another boy. Its probably better that I have boys. 9. I played the flute (and the bassoon for a year or two) in school, sang in the choir, and enjoyed participating in the musicals. More than anyone knows, music has been an integral part of my life. 10. I am actually glad that I was an only child growing up. 11. My husband was the best thing (besides my children) that has ever happened to me.
