Kuwait in: 26/10/2014 Osama Al Mansour Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Attiyah reaches Oman to attend the launch of Oman Rally 2014 Mr. Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Attiyah – Vice President of FIA arrives at Oman today 29th Oct. evening to attend the official opening of Oman trial rally 2014 , which is considered of the added trial rallies to this season besides Abu Dhabi rally and Shiraz rally , as Al Attiyah was one of the main reasons for their return after he became the deputy head of FIA – MENA in last Dec. 2013. Al Attiyah expressed his full pleasure for the return of Oman rally to the agenda of Middle East. He also praised the role of the Oman government, due to the support of the Omani talents and the role of Oman Automobile Association headed by the retired General Salim Bin Ali Al Askari the chairman of Omani Assembly for Automobile and the head of the organizing committee of the rally for their efforts to restore the rally after 7 years absence. No doubt that Oman rally will contribute in promoting the motor sport in Gulf Area and Middle East & North Africa, as Oman enjoys rare geographical diversity , which will make Oman rally one of the most difficult and beautiful rallies. About the development of motor sport in MENA region , Al Attiyah said that MENA is currently living a good atmosphere under FIA supervision , due to the large number of events organized related to motor sport, we are distinguished in MENA because we organize the desert world rallies – Middle East championship for rallies – Moto GP, Moto Cross world championship , two rounds of Formula 1 , in addition to Porsche cup 2015 and Asia challenge MRF , all these championships are organized under FIA regulations . It’s worth saying that, the press conference of Oman trial rally will be held at 6:30 P.M on Wed. 29th Oct.2014 at Hormuz Grand – Muscat. The show stage will start Thu. 30th Oct.2014 evening, followed by the second day stage Fri.30th at Al Amarat , Al Nahda and Al Saadi . While the stages of the second day will be on 1st Nov 2014 at Yiti area and Taba at Sawaqim and Quriyat. The rally will witness Arabian and international participations full of strong excitement that would be the focus attention of all the world towards Oman With the participation of 24 participants.
