Kuwaits power house had done it again for Kuwait. After a nerve wrecking match against Qatar, Kuwaits openers M.Omar and M.Hyder set a good platform building a partnership of 49 runs in 6 overs. Soon later, Kuwait lost 2 quick wickets of M.hyder and Amna Tariq to Omans favour. Varshini Suresh stood on the crease unbeaten along with Kuwaits new Chris Gale Sabreen Zaki to score 27 runs of 37 balls with 3 FOURS and Sabreen smashed a quick 45 off 24 balls with 9 FOURS to add up to Maryam Omars 50 of 48 balls with 10 FOURS to put up the highest score of the tournament 163/3. Kuwaits bowlers restricted Oman for 97/4 with Maryam Omar securing 2 wickets and Maryam Hyder 1 wicket and a terrific run out from Sabreen Zaki. Player of the match was awarded to Kuwaits Captain Maryam Omar for her wonderful all rounding performance.
