Kym McKay has started a Facebook page; Support The Brickworks Markets Development. Purely so you are informed more on what is happening, Kym has complained of threats against him and his family? He also created a small video of a giant ball dropping on the beer garden Down For The Cause run by Jef Russell. The page is one not to be proud about. Feel free to express as a community you view on this iconic site, and the childish outlandish behaviour of Kym McKay, who only wishes to exacerbate a situation, and paint a bad picture of a young man, his livelihood and good will. Jef Russell, has held many charitable events, raising money for many great causes, since he took lease on the premises. I was informed that channel 7 did a feature on the Brickworks tonight, but the feature was still obscuring itself from the truth. Kym McKays page only indicates to me how cut off he is from his constituents. A protest rally is held for Jef and his community work on the doorsteps of Parliament House 4pm tomorrow. I urge those who can attend to please lend themselves the time to help save a place worth saving. I also urge the public to email the West Torrens councilors and share your personal view. This is a state issue, not one that should have been headed by any member in council, traders, or Marketing Investment. This was a tourist location, that has been robbed from the public. Marketing Investments has wound down this site, as though it was another industrial organization looking for an avenue out. We half expect that from businesses, but never from our governments. This is why we need an inquiry, something very dirty has taken place here.
