L.K. Advani laments ********************** In what words I must curse my stars, I raised this B.J.P. from earth to sky; I blazed the trail of terror and hate, But Vajpaee was chosen as a secular guy. Now this Modi ! I am his mentor, For him, I was always ready to die; I became a shield against all his crimes, But he gave me a kick, and went so high. Still I think, I have a glimpse of hope, It will depend on where my party will lie; If the Vajpayee-like era makes a repeat, I will be secular: Modi will weep and cry. Next time, if some greater demon is born, On secular credentials, Modi will fly; We must be grateful to our nation’s fools, Who don’t know, what to sell and what to buy.
