LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police have completely sealed all the roads leading towards Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri’s residence in Model Town area by placing additional containers, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.Roads leading towards Al Qadria from Model Town, Faisal Town, Garden Town and Akbar Chowk are fully blocked while additional police contingent has arrived at the scene.The government has been scrambling to deal with the double challenge posed by Dr Tahirul Qadri and PTI chief Imran Khan. Authorities have also brought in shipping containers to close off sections of Islamabad.Thousands of people rallied in Lahore on Sunday, as Tahirul Qadri announced plans to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on his Long March to Islamabad, a huge August 14 demonstration.Participants of the rally took an oath, promising to bring revolution to Pakistan. At least ten people have died in clashes between PAT supporters and police in the past week, including two police officers.Dunya News Tv
