LAKE ELSINORE: SWAT trying to capture possibly armed man BY BRIAN ROKOS / STAFF WRITER Heavily armed Riverside County sheriffs deputies surrounded a house on West Graham Avenue in Lake Elsinore on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 4, after someone reported that the man brandished a knife. The man has refused to leave the house in the 800 block of Graham, Deputy Patty Stoyer said. It was not clear whether the man was actually armed, Stoyer added. The Sheriffs Department urged people to stay away from the area bordered by Graham, N. Lowell Street, W. Heald Avenue and Scrivener Street. The operation was still ongoing as of 6:45 p.m.
